Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ Aquion™ RFIC™ Reagent-Free™ Ion Chromatography (IC) merupakan instrumen yang digunakan untuk analisa Ion Kromatografi dengan sistem kinerja yang tinggi serta platform dan pengoperasian yang sederhana. Instrumen ini sangat cocok untuk kebutuhan laboratorium dengan dana yang terbatas. Dionex Aqiuon ini dilengkapi dengan teknologi terbaru RFIC-EG yang mampu memberikan hasil analisis yang baik. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memudahkan penggunanya dalam menganalisis sampel dalam sektor lingkungan, keamanan pangan maupun akademik dengan kinerja yang stabil, cepat dan dapat diandalkan. Selain itu, Aquion cocok dengan komponen dionex pendukung lainnya, seperti kolom mulai dari 2 mm hingga 5 mm.
Sistem Kromatografi Ion Aquion menganalisis ion dengan mendeteksi konduktivitas yang suppressed (ditekan) maupun non-suppressed. Sistem ini umumnya terdiri dari beberapa bagian yaitu eluen dalam bentuk cair, pompa bertekanan tinggi, injektor sampel, kolom guard dan kolom pemisah, chemical suppressor, sel konduktivitas, dan sistem pengumpulan data.
Sebelum menganalisis sampel, sistem ion kromatografi dikalibrasi menggunakan larutan standar. Sampel dapat dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan membandingkan hasilnya dengan data standar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara komputerisasi menggunakan software kromatografi, hasil analisa umumnya berupa kromatogram (terdiri dari keluaran detektor vs. waktu analisa). Software ini yang akan merubah puncak kromatogram sampel menjadi konsentrasi dan menghasilkan data yang dapat dilaporkan. Komponen Kromatografi Ion terdiri atas :
ELECTROLYTIC SUPPRESSION
Sistem Dionex Aquion RFIC didukung oleh semua tipe dari Dionex suppression seperti kolom standard bore dan microbore, termasuk MMS dan ERS electrolytic suppressors yang menghilangkan persiapan secara manual. Kelebihan lainnya adalah waktu startup yang cepat, sensitivitasnya sangat baik untuk analisa kation dan anion, serta mengurangi konduktivitas background dan meningkatkan konsistensinya dari hari ke hari.
CONDUCTIVITY DETECTION
Sistem Dionex Aquoin IC didesain dan dioptimasi dalam pengaplikasiannya menggunakan deteksi konduktivitas. Dengan pengaturan suhu yang terkontrol, sel konduktivitas dengan performa yang tinggi tidak dipengaruhi oleh variasi perubahan lingkungan sekitar. Selain itu, kontrol secara digital memberikan rentang dinamis yang luas dalam mendeteksi variasi konsentrasi yang besar dari jenis sampel yang sama.
ELUENT GENERATION
RFIC-EG secara elektronik menghasilkan eluen dengan kemurnian yang tinggi secara online, dengan kinerja yang konsisten secara sempurna setiap harinya, antar laboratorium, dan antar operator satu dengan lainnya. Dengan menggunakan eluen generator, pengaplikasian metode gradien akan semudah metode isokratik. Eluen dengan kemurnian tinggi ini dihasilkan dari air deionisasi (DI) menggunakan Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ EGC (Eluent Generator Cartridge) dan dihilangkan kontaminannya menggunakan Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ CR-TC (Continuously Regenerating Trap Columns). Trap column berfungsi untuk menghilangkan kontaminan, sehingga menghilangkan pengotor ionik dengan kadar rendah, seperti karbonat dari aliran eluen. Teknologi ini didukung dengan software Chromeleon CDS yang menyediakan fitur pengontrolan, status dan diagnosa eluen. Teknologi ini memberikan hasil baseline yang lurus, meningkatkan sensitivitas, meningkatkan resolusi dan mengintegrasi peak secara konsisten jika dibandingkan dengan pembuatan eluen secara manual.
SOFTWARE CHROMELEON
