The Element GD Plus GD MS mass spectrometer designed to serve the needs of manufacturers requiring high-purity materials and industrial customers such as aerospace: super nickel alloys, coating depth profiles, and diffusion coatings; microelectronics: copper, alumina powder, sputter targets; renewable energy: silicon blocks, wafers, solar cells; medical/ pharmaceutical/food: stainless steel, alloys; and nuclear: uranium, nuclear fuel.

The Glow Discharge Source is designed to reduce sample switching time to a fraction of the time it used to be. The sample is placed in a vacuum chamber, eliminating the risk of leakage between the sample and GD cells. Further, you can quickly and easily remove them from the ion source, directly dismantle, re-assemble, and re-positioned them for further measurements. The opening and closing of the ion source manifold are fully automatic.
