Element GD Plus ™ Glow Mass Spectrometer

Redefine the way of analyzing high-purity materials directly from solids with Element GD Plus GD MS. Achieve detection limit of ppb levels with minimal calibration and sample preparation effort. It makes the GD MS the most convenient and powerful tool for bulk metal analysis in routine and research applications. Apply the instrument’s outstanding analytical robustness to conductive and non-conductive materials with the same sensitivity and data quality. GD MS is a reliable standard for metal analysis.

The Element GD Plus GD MS mass spectrometer designed to serve the needs of manufacturers requiring high-purity materials and industrial customers such as aerospace: super nickel alloys, coating depth profiles, and diffusion coatings; microelectronics: copper, alumina powder, sputter targets; renewable energy: silicon blocks, wafers, solar cells; medical/ pharmaceutical/food: stainless steel, alloys; and nuclear: uranium, nuclear fuel.

The Glow Discharge Source is designed to reduce sample switching time to a fraction of the time it used to be. The sample is placed in a vacuum chamber, eliminating the risk of leakage between the sample and GD cells. Further, you can quickly and easily remove them from the ion source, directly dismantle, re-assemble, and re-positioned them for further measurements. The opening and closing of the ion source manifold are fully automatic.

Elements GD Plus GD MS features the latest technologies to deliver outstanding analytical speed, high throughput samples, high sensitivity, and accuracy. Well-designed sample handling’s to ensure ease of use and the benefits of fast sample change for routine operations and good results.

All elements present in solid samples can be detected and quantified for routine analysis down to the ppb level.
